Plan Your Visit

Plan Your Visit to Glenn Hope Care Farm

We’re so glad you’re considering a visit to Glenn Hope Care Farm. Whether you’re coming for quiet time, connection, or meaningful work, a little planning helps ensure a safe and peaceful experience for everyone.

First-Time Visitors: Veterans & Volunteers

All first-time guests begin with a brief visit and farm tour with our Farm Director. This helps you get familiar with the land, animals, and guidelines so you feel comfortable and confident.

During your first visit, you will:

  • Sign a waiver (can also be done online)
  • Tour the farm and learn about the spaces and animals
  • Ask questions and share your goals for visiting

Once you’ve completed your first visit, you’re welcome to return anytime with a simple text to let us know you’re coming.

Once a Veteran or volunteer has completed their orientation and is familiar with the farm’s flow, they are welcome to return at any time. A quick text to Farm Director Aimee Jo letting her know you plan to visit is all that’s needed, and spontaneous visits are always welcome; simply send a note when you’re “on the farm.”

The Rhythm of the Farm

Each gathering at Glenn Hope Care Farm offers a gentle, intentional focus rooted in the land, the animals, and meaningful connection. These experiences support healing and service, whether you join in projects, animal care, gardens, or events, or simply explore the farm at your own pace.

Sometimes the day’s theme shifts to accommodate special events, preparation of food baskets for Veterans and subscribers, or the Hearts 4 Veterans Military Food Share. Families, corporate teams, churches, or organizations interested in larger projects are welcome to contact Farm Director Aimee Jo. The theme of the day is an invitation, never a requirement — every effort makes a difference.
