Getting Started as a Volunteer
Starting is simple. On your first visit, you’ll complete a waiver, either online or in person, and coordinate your volunteer time with the Farm Director, whether you’re coming as an individual or a group.
Once you’re familiar with the farm and our routines, you’re free to establish your own schedule. A quick text to the Farm Director is all it takes to let us know you’re coming, and then the farm is yours to help, explore, and enjoy.
Called to Action
Volunteering at Glenn Hope Care Farm is a meaningful way to give back, whether on your own or with a group.
Individuals can lend a hand with farm projects, animal care, gardens, or events, while groups can plan a corporate day of giving, family outing, or team service project. Every effort helps care for Veterans, the land, and the local community.
We have theme days at Glenn Hope, offering inspiration for ways to volunteer.

York College - Spartan Serves
We are proud to partner with York College through Spartan Serves. Students can earn service hours while supporting Veterans, caring for the land, and strengthening our community.

Ongoing Programs
This summer marks an exciting and transitional season for the farm as we construct our new program and events building. During this time, our regular summer programming is temporarily on hold while we focus on this important expansion.
If you are interested in offering complimentary programming for our Veterans, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect. Please reach out to Farm Director, Aimee Jo, to explore how you might serve during this special season of growth.
Outreach in the Community
Glenn Hope Care Farm extends its mission beyond the farm, bringing food, care, and connection to Veterans throughout York County. Our team regularly delivers fresh produce, eggs, and meats to local Veterans in need. We seasonally host activities at Prodigy Spectrum in York, a Veterans personal care home.
We also participate in other Veteran-focused events across the community, sharing our resources, our farm, and our gratitude with those who have served. Volunteers are always welcome to join us in these outreach efforts, helping to make every delivery and event a meaningful experience.
