The wind, the rain, and the cold temperatures didn’t stop us today!
Day 2 of the Planting Workshop at Glenn Hope Care Farms: A Success Despite the Elements!
We wrapped up Day 2 of our planting workshop under the high tunnel with a dedicated group of community members, and the York Spartan Serves team. Together, we planted over 500 plants that will soon be blooming and producing fruits for our Military Food Share Program, nourishing our veterans with healthy, nutrient-dense, organic food.
This project is about more than just farming, it’s about coming together as a community to support those who have served us. We can’t wait to see these plants grow and begin serving the veterans of our community, providing them with fresh, sustainable food that they truly deserve.
